Carefully integrated into the natural topography, this new-build care home and community hub balances scale, form, and context. Composed of smaller linked elements, the building combines pitched roofs reflecting local vernacular with contemporary flat-roofed forms. Organised around a private central courtyard, it incudes clusters of 15 care suites include communal facilities, while top-floor accommodation is dedicated to dementia care, designed to the Dementia Household Stirling Gold Standard. The design harmonises with the surrounding landscape and neighbouring buildings, referencing tradition while presenting a contemporary style.
