The Shore Hotel Laxey

Celebrating the heritage of an iconic building, this project transforms the Shore Hotel into a boutique destination with contemporary flair. Part demolition, extension and refurbishment carefully respects the existing character while introducing a distinctive new presence. Timber framing contrasts with the expansive glazed restaurant façade, bridging old and new. Upper levels combine careful refurbishment with modern detailing, delivering luxurious suites with lift access. Positioned beside the Laxey River, the raised external terrace provides premium social space while offering secondary flood protection.
